Antoinete M. (Andreola) Danis, 95

Antoinete M. (Andreola) Danis, 95, of Milford, where she has lived since 1927, died peacefully, at her home, on Monday, May 15, 2017. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Danis, who passed away in 2012.  

Born in Casavecchio, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Louise (Fino) Andreola, and moved to the U.S. when she was 5 years old.  

She was a Milford High School graduate, class of 1940, and retired in 1987 from Snap-On Tools, where she repaired broken tools. She had also worked at the former Cartagena Hat Shop.  

She was the sister of the late Carmen Andreola, Nicholas Andreola, and Louise Brown. She is survived by her nieces Chris (Andreola) Humble and Mary (Andreola) Coon, nephews Nick Andreola, Michael Andreola, and Michael Brown, and many beloved nieces and nephews in the Danis family. Her family would like to give special thanks Tonie's companion, Jenifer Duffy-Rossetti.

Her funeral will be held from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, E. Main St., Milford, at 10AM. Burial will follow in the Parish cemetery.  

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8PM.

Holiday dinners and family birthday parties will never be the same without Uncle Bob and Auntie Tonie at the table. They will be missed.
