Louise K. (Beccia) Calzolaio, 82 Louise K. (Beccia) Calzolaio, 82, of Milford, died Monday, June 25, 2012 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Alphonso “Fudgie” Calzolaio of 61 years. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Michele and Jennie (Coscia) Beccia and was a life long Milford resident. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1947. Mrs. Calzolaio was employed as the clerk magistrate in the Milford Court for many years. Previously she was employed as a clerk in the Worcester Court and a secretary for the former Seaver’s Express in Milford. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club and a member of the Milford Heart Fund. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons Mark and his wife Maria (Batista) Calzolaio of Milford, David Beccia Calzolaio of Milford, one sister Joanne and her husband Bruce Stratton of Milford, two grandchildren Christopher and his wife Alicia (Avery) Calzolaio of Milford and Scott Calzolaio of Milford, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Larson. A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. Milford MA. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral mass from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. in Milford MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

She would always tell me to sit beside her and I did for many years. My mother and I always had good times with her, she always made us laugh and she would always hug us before we leave the bingo hall.
