Dear Dad, I'm so happy that you're finally back together with Ma. I know how much you've missed her since she left us on July 23rd, 1999. Realizing that my visit with you this past Mother's Day would probably be the last; I was thrilled that we connected in such a warm and wonderful way... Those hours spent with you are eternally imprinted in my heart and soul..
Carl A. Belforti Jr.

Page 2 I will forever cherish that I had the opportunity to spend 12 years caring for you; both in your apartment in Worcester, and my homes in Florida. I also have the joyful memories of both you and Ma spending countless winter months visiting me since I first moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1970. The three of us were a "Team". You both rejoiced in getting to know and love my eclectic group of friends and we all shared some truly remarkable times together

Page 3 Those were incredible days and moments for me... Moments that will keep me smiling till the day I die.. I often look at the picture that I took at Ilio's condo in Hallandale of Ma laughing at the pickle she held in her hand. Caption reading: "Pickled lady laughing at a pickle". I consider myself one of the most fortunate persons on the planet.. Few of my acquaintances and friends have had the opportunity to spend the quality time that I have shard with you and Ma.

Carl, I send my sincerest sympathy in the passing of your father. I met him when you invited me to your home in Florida about eight years ago. He had a ready smile and I was immediately charmed by his warm personality. I remember his daily trips to the mail box and a walk down the road to get the morning paper. Some afternoon he would spend time with all the Italian CUM-BAS. May he rest in peace in the loving arms of the Lord.

Dear Carl, What else can be said that hasn't been written by you and these other thoughtful people. Your dad was a really nice person and you, a devoted son. He seemed so happy during his time spent in Florida. I remember him being so independent and going about his business. However, you were concerned about his well being, always staying in contact with him. When he was too ill to return to Florida, you totally devoted yourself to your dad. Yes, you were a good son. May I add that you are a good friend. May God bless the both of you.

Dear Carl, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved dad. I remember him a such a kind and gentle man who was always smiling. Both your mom and dad were always gracious and welcoming when we went to your house as kids. He was lucky to have such a devoted son who cared for him so well for so long. Take care of yourself my dear friend, your mom and dad are together again and I know very proud of the caring compassionate man you are. I love you my dearest friend and look forward to seeing you soon Deb
