Thank you, Mrs. Stare, for insisting on good grammar, correct spelling and proper punctuation. All of these seem to be a lost art these days.

Such a bright, passionate and motivating educator. I am fortunate to have been in her classroom and learned from one of the greats. I will never forget a story she shared about 4 students from another class who had come to class late for an exam that she was administering. They said their car had a flat tire, thus the reason for being late. She separated them into the four corners of the classroom and gave each a pencil and piece of paper, asking that they write which tire was flat. Needless to say, their answers did not match up. What a bright and sometimes sassy gal. Personally she used to tell me that the Aqua Net hairspray that I often carried more than my books was going to kill me some day. What a gem of a lady. Rest easy dear lady and thank you for influencing my life.

Thank you Mrs. Stare for making a huge difference in my life. I wish I could have told you all the things I pretended not to learn but kept them tucked away in my memories for future use. I am successful today, in part because of you. I really was listening when you thought I was not paying attention in class.RIP

Jeanette, Jackie, and family, please know that my thoughts are with you at your time of loss. I have fond memories of time spent around your wonderful parents, at the house and on mystery dinners. They don't make them like Regina Stare anymore, much as they never made another one like Jean!
