Jane A. (Dwyer) Pauly, 80
Jane A. (Dwyer) Pauly, 80, of Milford, passed away peacefully September 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving children. Born in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Calnan) Dwyer. Her family moved to Milford in 1953 where she attended Milford High School graduating in 1955. From high school she worked initially for the Stylon Corporation of Milford and The Dennison Mfg Company of Framingham while starting her family. In 1978 she began working for Dr. Sidney Heller and his family where she remained until he retired his practice in 1991. She then worked as the office manager for Lenmar Realty and Prudential Lenmar of Natick until her retirement in 2007. During retirement she volunteered at the voting polls in Milford. She is survived by her sister, Florence H. DeLoia and her husband Leonard of Milford, her son John A. Pauly, Jr and his wife Mary of Medway, her daughter Lisa J. Sgammato and her husband William of Milford, and her daughter Helene Carlin and her husband Paul of Hopedale. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Stephen Pauly, Leanne (Pauly) Murphy, Jane Sgammato, Mary Sgammato, Margaret Sgammato, Spencer Carlin, Riley Carlin, Alivia Carlin and Connor Carlin; and her beloved niece and nephews Janice DeLoia of Hopedale, Tony DeLoia and Scott DeLoia both of Milford. She maintained many friendships which have all lasted well past 50 years including friends from high school and her days at Dennison. What she relished the most was time with family. She enjoyed many trips to Maine and Florida with her sister and niece. An avid sports fan, she loved the Patriots and going to an occasional Red Sox game with her nephew. She was a Disney World enthusiast visiting many times with her children. She accomplished her happy goal of attending all the trips where any of her grandchildren were seeing it for the first time. She also never passed up an invite to Wright’s Chicken Farm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Winter St., Milford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8PM at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford. Contributions can be made in her name to The Daily Bread Food Pantry of Milford.
