Manuel Sebastiao, 91
Manuel Sebastiao, 91, of Milford, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in his home. He was the husband of Aida (Alves) Sebastiao of 59 years. He was born in Portugal, son of the late Pulicarpo and Angelina Sebastiao and moved to Milford in 1962.
Mr. Sebastiao was employed for many years as a landscaper in the Milford area. Previously he was employed at the former Karteganer’s Hat Factory in Upton. He was a communicant of the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son John and his wife Leslie (Eaton) Sebastiao of Uxbridge, one daughter Isilda and her husband Antonio D’Sousa of Milford, one brother Antonio Sebastiao of Milford, two sisters Adalaide Henriques of Milford, Victoria Adujo of Brazil, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Abilio Sebastiao and Andreano Sebastiao.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10 A.M. in the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Winter St. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar St.
Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral mass from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford Ma.
