Lucilia C. (Torneiro) Miguel, 86, of Milford, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Arnaldo A. Miguel who passed away in 1998. She was born in Granja, Portugal daughter of the late Maria Pereira and Jose Torneiro and moved to Milford in 1959.
Mrs. Miguel retired in 1991 from the Fenwal Corp. in Ashland where she was employed as an assembler. She was a communicant of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Alzira and her husband Joseph Pinto of Milford, two brothers Mariano Torneiro of Canada, Jurusci Torneiro of Portugal, two grandchildren Jennifer Pinto and her husband Peter Franciosa of CA and Joseph Pinto of Milford.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11 P.M. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A calling hour will be held prior to the funeral Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.
