Dorothy (Brown) Larnis, 92,

Dorothy (Brown) Larnis, 92, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at The Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of the late Franklin L. Larnis. She was born in Ashland, daughter of the late Albert and Gladys (O’Leary) Larnis. She was a graduate of Ashland High school class of 1943.

Mrs. Larnis retired from Framingham School Bus Company in Framingham where she was employed as a driver. She previously was employed as a telephone operator at the New England Telephone in Framingham. After her retirement she and her husband lived in Hawaii for 11 years.

Dot lived a rich, free spirited life which included riding her horse Georgia with the Geoghegan family. She spent her summers in Provincetown and Cape Cod. Dot enjoyed great food and going out dancing with her husband Frank at the Driftwood in Revere. She enjoyed music, especially, Bob Dylan and Fleetwood Mac, and never missed an Aerosmith concert and hanging out backstage with her daughters and the parties afterwards. Her passion were her classic old convertible cars which she drove all over New England. She also loved picking out fashionable outfits she wore daily. She could talk to the young as well as the old, never judgmental and always supportive, she told it as it is, and had a great sense of humor.

She was a beautiful mother as well as a friend. We all will miss you, until we meet again.

She is survived by Ava, Deidra, Francine, Ingrid, Ryan, Cherly Buis, Joy Toronto, her friend Stephen D’Innocenzo and all the people she touched.     Arrangements are under the direction of the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA

Dottie Larnis lived life large! Always a giver - ready to share her thoughts, opinions, stories about her daughters, and especially her time. There was no such thing as a dull moment with her. Dottie lived a most interesting life. Ava, you have been a wonderful daughter to your mom. She was so fortunate to have you looking after her.

I love my Aunt Dot! She was so kind and supportive during my teenage years, when I'd spend the weekend with my Nana.. She took us everywhere, she was always up for a cup of coffee, and out and about! A wonderful woman, I will miss her..
