To Sylvia's family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. It's so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. Job 14:14,15 gives us confidence that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort and strength, remembering that soon God will wipe away our tears and swallow up death forever. (Isaiah 25:8)

A classy, articulate Aunt and matriarch of the Protano/Leone/ Montanari Families! My mind is rushing with memories of Uncle Tony and Aunt Sylvia and the times at the house and backyard, fun times and the sad times. Some of my memories literally go back 75 years! A little five year old who wandered from the backyard cookout to walk the streets of Milford. Yes, Aunt Sylvia found me and feed me. Joe and Ida were forever thankful!, I think. Most of all Aunt and Uncle were particularly kind to me and supportive of my long journey to Priesthood. They never missed any of the milestones. Aunt even attended my 50th anniversary! Now, her prayers will accompany all us on what remains of our individual journeys. She never forgets us. God bless you all. Cousin, Fr. Joe Protano
Rev. Joseph Protano, Jr.
