So sorry to hear about Auntie Jean. Jean was such a nice and kind person to everyone. Auntie Jean loved hosting us for special occasions and delighted in setting up her dinning room table - perfectly! We always had such special Christmas and Easter meals together with Jean, Grammy, Emily, Shane, Daniel, Bethann and me. Those were some wonderful times with Auntie Jean & Grammy. The kids were always so excited to see her, Auntie Jean had the best gifts and a great sense of humor too! Auntie Jean is credited with getting me started in brewing 27 years ago, a hobby I still enjoy today. She was and will always be remembered as a kind and generous caring person who touched the hearts and made better the lives of all who knew her. May God please watch over her and bring peace to those here who miss her so much.

I met Jean last year when my dad became a resident at Countryside Nursing Home. I fell in love with her. She called herself "The mayor of the Smith Wing. I loved talking with her. She will be missed, but I know I will never forget her. She was a very special person.
