Frank T. Ferrante Sr., 89

Frank T. Ferrante Sr., 89 of Milford passed away Saturday June 26, 2021 in his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Irene L. (Kearnan) Ferrante for 69 years. He was born in Milford son of the late Gaetano and Rose (Testa) Ferrante and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1949. He was a Korean War Navy veteran.

Frank retired in 2003 for Mass Electric and National Grid where he was employed as a lineman. He was a talented woodworker and everyone in his family has a remembrance of his woodworking talents. He was a member of the Milford Italian Veterans, I.B.E.W. Local 103 in Boston, and a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Frank T. Ferrante Jr. and his wife Debra of Milford, two grandchildren, Andrea Ferrante and Valerie Ferrante, two nieces, Donna Veneziano of Milford, Ann Terese Veneziano-Korzec of Sturbridge, one nephew Robert Veneziano of Taunton, many great nieces and great nephews and many close friends. He was predeceased by his sister Josephine “Tootsie” Veneziano.       

The funeral will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. Milford. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
