There isn't much of anything Danny did'nt know about, so he was usually my answer man. You can't just replace some people in our lives. He meant more to me than he probably knew. I hate to see him leave as does everyone, but he explained everything to me a few weeks ago while waiting to go somewhere with his sisters and as hard as it was for me to listen to, Danny made the right decision for all the right reasons one last time. I spent some time with him the day before and I had the best talk to him and believe he was an attentive listener for that period of time. It's not often we say this to someone before they expire, and I probably should have told him sooner, but I had to tell him, 'Danny, you're truly a Good Man!", just once in my life. I'll see you when I get there....

My sincere condolences to the Silva family, Danny was full of love and it's evident that he was truly loved. 81B will never be the same. He will be truly missed. The smile that I get every time that I opened that door with a cup of coffee ("just black", he'll say), will just brighten my whole day. I missed our morning routine, we'll have our morning coffee, and he'll update me on what's going in the world and talk about Gloria, Maria, the nieces and the nephews, he'll show me new pictures if there was any, and I will update him with what's going on with my family and show him pictures of my girls. When I go on vacation for a week and come back he will say "where have you been woman". He was always so thoughtful, if he didn't see me for a few days, he will make sure to find out I was OK. He will always be in my heart and I am truly honored to have known such a wonderful soul. 💔 Rest in Peace

I'm devastated I cant be there. I will miss him. I retired a year and a half ago but came back 2 months after retiring because they needed nurses during Covid. Danny was there when I started my nursing career almost 33 yesrs ago. He was the last one left. I feel an era has come to a end and I'm so broken hearted. I'm so sorry I can't be at his services as I just came down to Florida for vacation. Rest in peace Danny . Until we meet again 💔

My sincerest condolences. Danny was an earth angel --kind, generous and a heart that overflowed with love for his family and friends. Maria and Gloria, may the memories of your Saturday visits and holiday memories bring you much comfort. You brought much joy to Danny. His nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews were the light of his life. Sincerely,
Deb Harder

As soon as I walked into his room he had at least three questions for me, and before I could start to answer the first one, I got that huge smile, which was his way of trying to get an edge on me. He loved his family, playing cribbage, and talking Boston sports. I can still see him racing around the back parking lot of building 8. RIP my friend. Just Jim

Danny was larger than life. He was one of the most honorable man I have ever had the privilege to know. Always helping his family, concerned with other people's welfare. He lived the life he was given with a tremendous sense of humor and grace. Danny touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He was a great friend and I will miss him
