George E. Flemming,79, of Franlkin, formerly of Milford, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Landmark Hospital in Woonsocket RI. He was the husband of Marjorie A. (Auregemma) Flemming for 55 years. He was born in Manchester CT son of the late Carey and Juanita (Carmichael) Flemming and lived in Milford before moving to Franklin. He was a Vietnam era veteran serving in both US Navy and the US Army.       

Mr. Flemming was a chef in the Milford area for many years working at the former Soda Shoppe and also Johnny Jack’s and retiring in 2003. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Kimberley and her husband Anthony Sciniciariello Sr. of Milford, one brother Charles Flemming of FL, four sisters, Sherri Kimball of NV, Darlene Hoyt of FL, Brenda Haskell and Delores Brown both of ME, two grandchildren, Rebecca and Anthony JR, two great grandchildren, Ryan and Jayden, many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Wright, one brother, Dale Flemming and two sisters, Roberta Smith and Louise Earley.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 9 to 11 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford, followed by a funeral home service at 11 A.M.

Marjorie and family, I am so sorry for all of our loss and it is one that we shall always remember.
