Donna was my cousin. I have very fond memories of her coming to Walpole to visit with us on many Sundays. On one visit she witnessed a heated argument (or should I say fight) with my younger sister. She immediately took one of my hands and one of my sister's hands, held them and said, you shouldn't fight, you're sisters. You should love each other and help each other. I was shocked and ashamed! I hadn't realized how careless my behavior had been. How right she was! Here I was speaking not so nicely to my flesh and blood over something insignificant! Donna, the loving girl who loved family, who would have loved a sibling. I was forever changed from that day forward. I think of her every time I decide I want to lash out at my sister. Clearly she taught me a lesson I'll never forget.

The clients and staff at the Blaire House Adult Day Health Center will really miss Donna. We have alot of happy and wonderful memories of the eleven years she spent with us. May she rest in peace.
