Caesar J. Cervassi, 85,

          Caesar J. Cervassi, 85, of Upton, died March 27, 2012 in his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Loretta (Couture) Cervassi of 58 years. He was born in Hopedale son of the late Joseph and Antonia (Biagerelli) Cervassi and lived in Hopedale before moving to Upton in 1956. He was a graduate of the Worcester Trade School class of 1943.
         Mr. Cervassi retired in 1994 from the Donnelly Company where he was employed as a tool maker. He previously was employed for Data General, in Southboro, Honeywell Corp. in Framingham and Stylon in Milford. He also was employed at the Quincy shipyard in his younger years and had repaired the Queen Mary.
         He was a communicant of the St. Gabriel’s the Archangel Parish in Upton, a member of the Church bowling league and Upton Men’s bowling league.
         In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Anthony C. Cervassi Sr. and his girlfriend Joyce Moroney both of Upton, one daughter Linda L and her husband Jim Earl of Upton, one sister Rena Harris of Milford, two grandchildren Eric and his wife Justine (Libbey) Earl of Milford and Anthony C. Cervassi Jr. of Upton.
         The funeral will be held Saturday March 31, 2012 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. in the St. Gabriel’s the Archangel Parish 151 Mendon St. Upton Ma.
         The burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Upton Ma.
         Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
