Flora A. (Sannicandro) Dumont, 89

    Flora A. (Sannicandro) Dumont, 89, of Milford, died Sunday July 1, 2012, in the Countryside Healthcare of Milford. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Dumont Sr. who died in 1985. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Albert and Pierina (Mancini) Sannicandro and was a life long Milford resident. She was a graduate of the Milford High school class of 1941.
   Mrs. Dumont was employed for many years as an office manager at the former Porter Shoe Company in Milford. She was a volunteer at the Milford regional Medical Center, member and past treasure for the Son’s of Italy in Milford.
    She is survived by three grandchildren Melanie Dumont, Robert Dumont III and Jillian Dumont, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Robert F. Dumont Jr., her brothers Anthony Tosches, Nicholas Tosches, Michael Sannicandro and Louis Sannicandro.
    A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 10 A.M. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St. in Milford.
   Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. in Milford.
   Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral mass from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. in Milford.
