Jose M. Mendes, 45

    Jose M. Mendes, 45, of Milford, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 in his home. He was born in New Bedford Ma, son of Georgina (Moura) Mendes of Milford and the late Valdemar Mendes and he lived in Milford many years. He was a graduate of the New Bedford High School. Mr. Mendes was employed as a painter in the Milford area for many years.
     In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Augusto Mendes of Milford, Nacimento Mendes of Woonsocket RI, Alfredo Mendes of Milford, many nieces and nephews.
     The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. in St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Winter St. in Milford.
    Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar St.
    Calling hours will be held Monday from 6 to 8 P.M.
