Doris I. (Lauzon) Lamontagne, 88,
Doris I. (Lauzon) Lamontagne, 88, of Milford, where she has lived for 47 years, died Thursday, February21, 2013 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. Born in Exeter, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Adolf and Rose (Baril) Lauzon. She was raised in Northbridge, and was educated in the Northbridge Schools.
Wife of the late Reginald Lamontagne, she retired from General Electric in Ashland. She had also worked for Timex. She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Milford, and enjoyed volunteering at the church, the Milford Senior Center, and Milford Hospital. She also enjoyed bowling, dancing, exercise, and was an avid walker.
She was the sister of Thelma Couillard of Marstons Mills, MA, and is also survived by two nieces Mary Schneller, and Michelle Forest and a nephew John Couillard, and dear friends Tony and Amy Lombardo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 10 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford Ma.
Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Whitinsville.
Calling hours will be held from 9 to 9:45AM, prior to the funeral mass in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford Ma.
