Alex M. Jablonski, 96,
Alex M. Jablonski, 96, of Milford, died Friday, April 5, 2013 in the Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northbridge MA. He was the husband of the late Ethel F. (Hatch) Jablonski who died in 1980. He was born in Franklin, son of the late John and Anna (Ackerman) Jablonski and lived in Milford most of his life.
He was a graduate of the St. Mary’s high School in Milford.
He was a World War II Army Veteran.
Mr. Jablonski retired in 1983 from the former Marlboro Footwear where he was employed as a shoe cutter. He was previously employed at the former Boston Stride Rite Shoe Company and the former Herman Shoe Company.
He was a communicant of the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church and a member of the VFW #1544 Frascotti Post.
He is survived by his daughters, Carol A. Piantedosi of Whitinsville, Rita Corey of Athol, three grandchildren, Laura Piantedosi of Franklin, Tina and her husband Corey Whitney of Upton, Tara Panorese of Milford. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph Jablonski and Francis Jablonski, a sister Anna Tomaso.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. in the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Winter St.
Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar St.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 P.M.
