Eleanor L. (Cipriani) Richards, 87,

     Eleanor L. (Cipriani) Richards, 87, of Marion, formerly of Milford, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2014, at the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Albert W. Richards of 61 years. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Alfred and Lucy (DeVenuto) Cipriani and lived in Milford and Hopedale before moving to Marion in 1989. 
     She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1944. She also was a graduate of the Milford Hospital Nursing program in 1948. 
    Mrs. Richards retired in 1987 from the Medfield State Hospital where she was employed as an admissions nurse. She also was employed at numerous hospitals in the Boston area.      
         In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Douglas Richards of Worcester, Gianna and her husband Robert Regan of Somerville, her sister Rita Geromini of Franklin, three grandchildren, Matthew Regan, Erica Richards and Ross Richards, many nieces and nephews.  
           She was predeceased by her son Gary Richards, two brothers Anthony Cipriani, Robert Cipriani, two sisters Louisa Moran and Katherine Kane.       
       The funeral will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 8:30 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. , Milford , MA. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 7 East Main St. in Milford. 
    Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. 
    Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.   
     Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
