Josephine J.
(Maietta) Sproles, 78, of Milford
passed away Sunday September 21, 2014 in her home. She was the wife of the late
Benny Sproles who passed away in 1997. She was born in Milford daughter of the
late Michael and Mary (Tosches) Maietta and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was educated in the Milford schools.
Mrs. Sproles retired from the Fenwal Corporation in
Framingham where she was employed as an assembler for many years.
She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Church.
She is survived by her children Dianne and her husband
Guy Hoffmaster of Milford, Richard Brothers and his wife June of Milford, two
brothers Michael Maietta and Victor Maietta both of Milford, two sisters, Marie
Sproles and Anna Maietta both of Milford, two grandsons David Hoffmaster Sr. of
Milford, Dustin Hoffmaster of Uxbridge, one great-grandson David Hoffmaster Jr.
of Uxbridge, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by her daughter Denise Brothers,
two brothers Nicholas Maietta and Anthony Maietta.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014
at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford. A Mass of
Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7
East Main St. Burial will follow in the Vernon Grove Cemetery on Depot St. in
Milford.
Calling hour will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
