Mary Elizabeth (Harrington) Bianchi, 83,

       Mary Elizabeth (Harrington) Bianchi, 83, of Westborough, MA passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born February 17, 1933 in Rumford Rhode Island to the late George and Florence Harrington. She was the fourth of seven children.  She graduated from Bayview Academy.On May 25, 1957,  Mary  married the love of her life, Joseph Anthony Bianchi of Milford MA.  Shortly thereafter, the young couple moved to Hopedale and raised their family of 4 children.  Joe and Mary were longtime Hopedale residents and were happily married for 56 years; prior to her husband’s passing in 2014.   Mary was a stay at home mother for many years.  As her children became older, she became a Technical Aide at Milford Regional Hospital.  Mary was proud of her role at the hospital and developed lifetime friendships with many of her co-workers.  Mary’s late husband Joseph and his brother Vito were Co-owners of Central Cleaners and Tailoring in Milford for many years.  Running the family business was a large part of their lives.  It was a place that their children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will remember forever.  Mary and her late husband Joseph were two of the nicest people you could ever meet.  They loved life and cherished family.  “Nana and Papa” loved to spend time with all of their children and grandchildren, and often traveled to California and Arizona to visit their son and daughter.  Mary was a wonderful cook and loved to prepare and share dinners with family and loved ones. Mary was proud of her Irish heritage and was a devoted Catholic her entire life.  Mary volunteered at Sacred Heart church both as a CCD teacher and as a volunteer at the church thrift store.  Mary is predeceased by her late husband Joseph and her three sisters Florence Spiro, Ruth Condon, Joan Harrington.  She is survived by her children, Joseph Bianchi Jr. and his wife Francine of Albion RI, Stephen Bianchi and his wife Debra of Hopkinton, George Bianchi and his wife Lori of Attleboro, Lorrie and her husband William Card of Shrewsbury; siblings: Sally Threlfall, Trudy Rejkowski, and George Harrington; grandchildren:  Sean Bianchi, George Bianchi, Amanda Card, Stephen Bianchi, Jillian Armstrong, Matthew Bianchi, Lyndsey Card and Andrew Card along with many nieces and nephews. Calling hours for friends and family will be on Monday, February 29th from 5 to 8 P.M. at Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home located on 46 Water Street, Milford, MA.     A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on March 1, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus  187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale MA  The burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Road in Milford.     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston MA 02284-9168.

We were so saddened,to learn of Mary's passing..Sorry we can not be with you today. We have so many fond memories of both your parents and how generous and kind they were. Now they are reunited in heaven..They raised a wonderful family full of all their same qualities. God Bless you all and please know you are all in our thoughts and Prayers today and going forward.
