David C. MacRae, 87,

David C. MacRae, 87, of Milford passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Barbara E. (Cenedella) MacRae for 62 years. He was born in Worcester son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Farnsworth) MacRae and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1947. He attended the Draper Apprentice School, Worcester Junior College and graduated Northeastern University in 1968 and received an Industrial Engineering Technology Degree. He was a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves.
Mr. MacRae retired in 1994 from the Fenwal Corporation where he was employed as a senior manufacturing engineer.
He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, David M. MacRae and his wife Janet of Auburn, James E. MacRae and his wife Constance of Douglas, Robert J. MacRae and his wife Christina of Milford, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St., Milford. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. Milford. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
The calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 P.M.
