Your mom was a very special person! I can remember every time I called the house looking for you (way back in the day!), whenever she answered, we inevitably had a few moments to chat and catch up. She always brought a smile to to my face when we talked (about the store, life or staying out of trouble!). She may be gone but never forgotten.
