Louie A. Calabrese, 89, of West Yarmouth, MA was born on February 17, 1935 to the late Vincenzo and Ida (Balsamo) Calabrese in Milford, MA. He passed away at Cape Cod Hospital with his loving family by his side on 3/4/2024. He was brother of the late Joanne Lucia. He was a Korean War Marine Corp veteran.
Louie was married to the late Johanne Calabrese (Smout). He was a loving and devoted father to the late Donna Calabrese, Louie Calabrese JR, Vincent Calabrese, and John Calabrese.
He's survived by Tiffany Davis and her husband Paul Davis, Cassandra Banana and her husband Emanuel Banana, Shawn Calabrese and longtime girlfriend Krysta Lynch, and Samantha Cote and her husband Dan Cote. Including six great grandchildren. In addition to his four nieces, Sue Letender, Joan Gibbons, Denise Nishti and her husband Bob Neshti and Jane Haroian.
In 1990, Louie retired from General Motors and moved down to the Cape with his wife Johanne Calabrese. Over the next several years, Louie added on and remodeled his cottage in West Yarmouth. Louie was a dedicated member of both Sacred Heart Church in Milford, MA, and St. Pius X church in South Yarmouth, MA.
A calling hour will be held, Saturday March 9, 2024 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, MA. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St.The burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
