Victoria (Eghian) Peroni, 100, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Milford Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Victoria was the devoted wife of the late Paul Peroni. Born on March 12, 1925, in Milford, she was the daughter of George and Lucia (Kazangian) Eghian and a lifelong resident of the town she cherished.
To reach the age of 100 is a rare and beautiful gift—one that speaks to a life rich in love, strength, and treasured memories. Victoria was deeply devoted to her faith and immensely proud of her Armenian heritage. A 1942 graduate of Milford High School, she began her career at Draper Corporation in Hopedale, where she worked until marrying Paul in 1956. Together, they built a loving home and raised two children. Victoria dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, always putting their needs above her own.
Throughout her life, Victoria embraced many joys. She loved to travel, was an enthusiastic member of the Red Hat Club, participated in Silver Sneakers walking groups, and enjoyed activities at the Milford Senior Center. A skilled Scrabble player and avid gardener, she also found her greatest happiness in time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her humor, warmth and generous spirit always brought a good laugh to those around her.
Victoria is survived by her loving children: her son, Ron Peroni, and his wife Melissa of Sacramento, CA; and her daughter, Mary Ann Stand of Milford, MA, and the late Charlie Stand. She was a proud grandmother to Jessica Kenny and her husband Bob, Daniel Peroni and his wife Elynn, Jennifer Bruni and her husband Stephan, and Chelsea Peroni. She also adored her great-grandchildren: Maeve and Nolan Kenny, Nico Peroni, and Camille and Sydney Bruni. Victoria will miss spending time with her nieces and nephews, their spouses, and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved siblings: brothers Michael and Mugesh Eghian, and sisters Aroxey Laronga and Rose Belisle.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress Street, Milford, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victoria’s memory to Trinity Episcopal Church or the Milford Senior Center.
