Rose Marie Morganelli, 88

Rose Marie Morganelli, 88, a lifelong resident of Milford, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Michael Morganelli Jr., who passed away in June 2012.

She is survived by her devoted children :Angela Nash and her husband Alan, of Milford; Tara Pearland her husband Vincent, of Mendon; Gina DePaolo, and her late husband John Ted DePaolo Jr., of Milford; and Michael Morganelli III and his fiancé Erica, of Whitinsville. Rose Marie was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and great-grandmother to three. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Hank Landry of Milford, sister-in-law Barbara Morganelli of Milford, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Rose Marie was born in Milford, MA, daughter of the late Peter and Maria (Trombetta) D’Amico. She was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School.

At age 24, Rose Marie met and married the love of her life, Michael. Together, they raised their four children in Milford. She was a devoted wife and mother, known for her exceptional cooking skills. Her homemade Italian pasta dishes and cookies were treasured by family and friends alike. She also worked for many years as a supervisor at Ciba Corning in Medfield, retiring in 1998.

A longtime member of Sacred Heart Parish in Milford, Rose Marie loved cooking, socializing, and playing cards with her friends. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Countryside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Milford for their compassionate care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute @ MRMC, c/o the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, 14 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01757.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 8, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish, 5 East Main Street, Milford. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
