Norman W. Lefrancois, 82 of Hopedale Ma died peacefully on Sunday November 30, 2025 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends Veronica and Fred Farrell and Mary Smith of Milford.
Norman was a resident of Hopedale for 55 years and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus church in Hopedale. He was the son of William and Alcida Lefrancois of Uxbridge, Ma, where he attended Uxbridge public schools.
He was predeceased by his daughter Lisa Hasset, died in 2021, wife of James Hasset, Auburndale FL. Norman is survived by his loving wife, Rita of 61 years. Also by his siter Rita Sherman and family of Angleton, TX and Omerthea Larochelle, Aunt formally of New Britian, CT. He is also survived by his son Michael Lefrancois of Orlando, FL and his three children Dominick, Ella and Lucca. He is also is survived by his granddaughter Jacqlyn Gill and Her husband Brain Gill and one great granddaughter Reagan of Auburndale FL.
Norman worked for many years for Interstate United Vending Co servicing General Motors in Framingham and he was a warehouse manager for Canteen Corporation in Waltham. He was a recipient of the Canteen Great People award and the Safety Champion award from Canteen in Waltham.
The family is grateful to Dr. Rossi and staff at Dana Farber and to Countryside Healthcare of Milford. Also, for the 14th floor special care nurses at Milford Regional.
The funeral will be held at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home on Thursday December 11th, 2025. Calling hours will be 8:30 A.M to 10:30 A.M with a mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Hopedale, Ma at 11 A.M with a burial to follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Milford, Ma.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norman's name to the Dana Farber Cancer Center or Charity of your choice.
