Manuel (Manny) Gonsalves, 95, of Milford, passed away March 4, 2026 at the Medway Country Manor in Medway. He was the loving husband of 67 years to Anna (Chaves) Gonsalves. Manny was born and raised in Milford and resided with his family at Prospect Heights. He was a proud Member of the U.S. Army. He retired from Waters Associates and Rockwell Corporation (Draper Corp) located in North Carolina.
Manny was a communicant of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church, and the Milford Portuguese Club and was a honorary Mayor for the Prospect Heights Mayor Association. He was a former member of the Hopedale Country Club and Nipmuc Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the camaraderie of all his friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his two daughters, Mary Ann Morin and her husband Paul of Milford, Jane M. Berry and her husband Joseph. He was the brother of the late Antonio, Charles and John Gonsalves and his late sister Julia (Julie). He is survived by his grandchildren, Raymond and Paul Morin and many nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held Monday, March 9, 2026 from 9 to 10 A.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St. The burial will be in the parish cemetery.
