I met harvey for a couple of days while changing his boilerin boston... I have to say, he was a total character, a great guy, and one of only two customers I've ever had, that ten years later, I'm still talking about and quoting.... great guy...

Harv was one of a kind. He was classically his own man and cared not what others thought. He embraced life and danced his way to fame in the Ballroom community. He was an avid basketball fan and an excellent attorney always willing to share his knowledge and great dry humor. I will miss him as my neighbor and my friend. They broke the mold with you Harv!!!

I met Harvey in 1979 at the West Roxbury District Court. He was an extraordinary lawyer, fully prepared, well versed in the law, representing clients with heartfelt enthusiasm and compassion. Harvey was thoughtful, witty, and a man of great intellect. People learned a lot and felt good just being in his presence. He was inclusive and did not speak badly about anyone. Those who knew Harvey will miss him.

We are sad to hear of Harvey's passing. He was a friend of the Beal family way back to my Grandfather's Era. His mother and Clarence were our good neighbors from down the back hill. Harvey was always ready to help with any legal situation. His dry humor and unique personality will be missed. Our condolences to his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Harvey's passing. He was larger than life: a big, warm presence, a loyal friend and a true original. I loved his energy, his verve, and his independent, iconoclastic sense of style! Harvey was his own man, and I am proud to call him my friend. I admired, too, his wonderful devotion to his mother and father (almost every weekend sharing a six-pack of beer with the latter!). Along with his many devoted friends from the Union Boat Club, I will miss Harvey. My heartfelt condolences to his extended family.
