Aline G. (Brouillette) Sannicandro, 96, of Hopedale, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May16, 2017 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northbridge. She was the wife of the late Michael R. Sannicandro who passed away in 1985. She was born in Woonsocket RI, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Trudel) Brouillette and lived in Woonsocket RI before moving to Hopedale in 1957. She was educated in the Woonsocket RI schools. She was employed for 20 years as a health aide for the V.N.A. in Mendon. Aline was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Hopedale, former member of the Hopedale Country Club, Friends of the Elders in Hopedale. She was an avid golfer, and enjoyed traveling with friends, dancing, gardening, bingo at local parishes, sewing homemade curtains and children’s wear.
She is survived by her son, Richard P. Sannicandro of Milford, four granddaughters, Tracie Osgood, Tara McPartland, Tina Delouchry and Tanya Wareck, seven great-grandchildren, Norah, Agnes, Jacob, Bella, Emmet, Katie and William and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Emile Brouillette, Maurice Brouillette and her sister Cecile Lamoroux. The funeral will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 8 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. Milford. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. in Milford. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
