Antonio D. DeMoura, 67, of Milford, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston.
Husband of Maria Alice (Madeira) DeMoura, he was born in Firvedas, Portugal, the son of the late Joao and Louisa E. (Dias) DeMoura.
He moved to the U.S. in 1974, and worked as a machinist at the Draper Co., in Hopedale, and retired in 1992 from Kidde-Fenwal in Ashland. He was a member of the Milford Portuguese Club, St. Mary’s Church, and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Father of Antonio J. “Joe” DeMoura and his wife Kerri, and Diane M. DeMoura, both of Milford. Brother of Arthur DeMoura of Ludlow, Lucinda Leonor DeMoura of Bellingham, Alex DeMoura of Ludlow, Edite Dias of RI, Luisa DaSilva of Milford, Emilia DaFonte of Milford, and John DeMoura of Milford. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Vanessa, Tyler, Anthony, Avery, and Harlee, and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford, on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 A.M. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St Milford. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening from 5-8PM.
