The memories I have of my uncle joe Chappell are all fun loving for sure. He used to tease me when I was little and call my taffy lol. I would just laugh and say no its Kathy, knowing he knew my name. Joe and my father Leo, had alot of happy times here on earth that would keep us all laughing. Aunt doris, I'm so sorry that you lost you best friend. My cousins, Cindy, Susan, Debbie, and Judy, I know what it's like to loose your father. God bless all of you. And know one day you will meet again with him in heaven. I love all of you and I wish I could be at the funeral today. I give all my love to all if you on this hard day. Kathy Bernard

I remember many Sundays when my mom & dad would get together with her brother, Joe Chappell Sr. His son, Joe Jr and my brother, Joe H , Jr would get out their guitars and play music for the family. Always ending with tears in our eyes as Joe C jr. would sing to his mother, Ida, the Mom and Dad waltz. Joe Chappell Jr had a terrific voice. I'm sure he is singing for his mom and dad in heaven. Regretfully , we are leaving for California on Sunday and will not be able to attend the wake or funeral. But our hearts ♥️ will be with the family. Love to you all Cousin Joyce Haczynski Cardin and Dick Cardin
