Eleanor (Zichella) Testa, 98, of Hopedale, died Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of the late Angelo J. “Windy” Testa, who passed in 2010. Eleanor was born in Northhampton, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucia (Bianco) Zichella. She was a graduate of Framingham High School class of 1937 and moved to Milford in 1941 after her marriage to Angelo. They moved to Hopedale in 1953. She and her husband taught line dancing at many area senior centers for over 40 years.
She was the loving mother of Judith and her husband Dennis Mackie of Franklin, and Richard and his wife Margaret (Wilson) Testa of Acton. Sister of the late Nicholas, Attilio, Anthony, George, and Louis Zichella, Ann Palermo, and Josephine Misulis. Eleanor is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Lisa St. Louis, Matthew Alves, Jason Alves, Richard Testa, Adam Alves, and David Testa, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St., Milford, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. in Milford Ma.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd., Milford, followed by a reception at the Bell Tower Room at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 20th from 4 to 8 P.M.
