Flavia R. (Santacroce) Volpicelli, 94,

Flavia R. (Santacroce) Volpicelli, 94, of Holliston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare in Milford.

She was the wife of the late Bernard C. Volpicelli for 63 years.

Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Guidi) Santacroce and lived in Milford before moving to Holliston in 1956.

She had worked at the former Stylon Corp. in Milford, and then at Holliston High School, in the cafeteria.

She enjoyed cooking, collecting antiques, and music. She could recite the words to almost every popular song from the 30’s and 40’s.

She was a dedicated, hardworking, humble, and loving human being who always put other peoples needs and feelings before hers, and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her two sons, Bernard C. Volpicelli Jr., and Brian R. Volpicelli, both of Holliston.

Her Funeral and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

If desired, contributions in Flavia’s memory may be made to the Humane Society, P.O. Box 96930, Washington, DC 20077

Guest Book

To Flavia's family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. It's so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. Job 14:14,15 gives us confidence that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort and strength, remembering that soon God will wipe away our tears and swallow up death forever. (Isaiah 25:8)
