Pietro Valastro, 91,

          Pietro Valastro, 91, of Milford, passed away Saturday March 21, 2020 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Francesca (DeSantis) Valastro who passed away in 2012. He was born in Sicily, son of the late Placido and Carmela (Bruno) Valastro and moved to Milford in 1961.

      Mr. Valastro was a self-employed stone mason in the Milford area for many years.   

         He is survived by his children, Vincent Valastro and his wife Maria Grazia of Milford, Placido Valastro and his wife Deborah of Blackstone, Carmela and her husband Samih Homsi of Mendon, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

      The funeral and calling hours will be private and under the direction of the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford Ma.

Very sorry to learn of Uncle Peter's passing. My most found memory of Uncle Peter is how like clock work he would stop in on Sunday morning around 9:00 a.m. to visit my father and slow sip a shot of whiskey.

Vince & Graziella, Plas & Debbie, Nella & Sam and Grandchildren and Greatgrands, I am so heartbroken to hear the sad news of Uncle Peter's passing. We will miss him so. Memories keep flooding back to the good ole days growing up on East Main & Cook and how he and my dad would make wine in the garage. We'll all meet up there in heaven one day and he will have the wine ready and waiting for us. I wish I could give you all a hug right now. Know that we will be with you all in spirit as he's laid to his final resting place with you Mom. Love you all.
