So very sorry for your loss. Ernie will be dearly missed.
Michelle Simpson
Dear Uncle Ernie,
I have felt what each of your loved ones is feeling with your passing. Perhaps to a lesser degree as we have not recently spent time together. I do however, have very vivid childhood memories of crazy fun and hysterical laughter brought on as you introduced each of us to your favorite dance steps (Hully-Gully comes to mind). You opened your home and made us feel loved. We played baseball in the street, all sorts of games and had food and beverage to Beat-the-band. My memories are of you Always smiling, Big hugs and acting like a grownup kid. So refreshing! No doubt you are looking back at your best memories and maybe a small one includes me. Thank you for providing some of mine. Love, Karen

LOVE is the Eternal Gift
What once were tears of joy
Your eyes now weep with sorrow
The arms that hugged you close and tight
Now missing from your tomorrows
The sun that rises each passing day
It used to shine so bright
But now without your precious one
Your days now dark as night
Your life as you once knew it
Drawn to a screeching halt
Taken away was a loved one
through no one’s blame nor fault
It's times like this you notice
That life just spins so fast
But it's the love you shared with someone
That leaves priceless memories in its path
Those that truly loved him
Feel as though the sun won't shine
But your pain and heart felt suffering
is the GIFT he's left behind
For if your tears continue to flow
Or your heart feels broken within your chest
Or perhaps your heart beats so quick & hard
You cannot catch your breath
It's only those that suffer
It's only those that cry
That ask the same old question
Lord you've taken him away, but why?
You will not get an answer
There is no right or wrong
But try to live with the knowledge
Any pain or suffering now is gone
Yet here you are all alone
An empty hollow shell
But now it's time for you to share
The memories are yours to tell
As time goes by those darkest nights
Are now calm, bright and clear
From time to time you'll feel his love
And know that he is near
Although he's not within your sight
Or there to feel your touch
You'll feel him standing by your side
Because you're loved so much
His body may have left this earth
But deep down we all know
What lives on till the end of time
And most important is his soul

With sympathy to the Panorese family for your loss. Remembering time working with Ernie at the Police Dept. Always some kind of joke waiting. After retiring a day without seeing him take his daily walk was unusual. It was and honor too have served with him. R.I.P. my friend.

Uncle Ernie.
His quick wit, sharp dresser and the knack of getting everyone up to dance the hokey pokey was a few of his many admired traits. Uncle Ernie was deeply loved by his in-laws, nieces and nephews. We are all greatful to have had him in our lives and will miss you until we meet again. Be at peace.
