Maria Miranda Braza, 84, of Milford, passed away Thursday April 8, 2021, at the Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of Antonio J. Braza for 61 years. She was born in Mourilhe, Portugal daughter of the late of the late Joao and Emilia (Alves) Miranda and moved to Milford in 1992.Maria retired in 1992 from the Incase Company in where she was employed as an assembly packer. She was a communicant of the St. Mary of the Assumption church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Francisco Braza and his wife Balbina of Portugal, Manuel Braza and his wife Susan of Blackstone, Maria Braza Sanches and her husband Luis of Douglas, Rosa Braza Goncalves and her husband Antonio of Milford, two brothers, Augusto Miranda of Portugal, Manuel Miranda of Brazil, eight grandchildren, Jorge Braza, Emilia Correia, Sandra Considine, Manuel Braza Jr., Luisa Phillips, Jennifer Tubo, Michael Goncalves and Adam Braza, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Antonio Goncalves and Justina Braza, and two brothers, Augusto Miranda and Manuela Miranda
The funeral Mass will be held Monday April 12, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St. in Milford. The burial will be held in the Cemiterio de Mourilhe in Mourilhe, Montalegre Portugal. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral Mass from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral home 46 Water St. Milford MA
