James J. Waeger, 62

James J. Waeger, 62, of Milford, formerly of Framingham, died on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Milford Regional Medical Center.

Husband of 18 years to Annmarie (Tumolo) Waeger, he was the son of the late Elmer J. and Sabatina (Sorallegri) Waeger. A 1976 graduate of Keefe Technical High School in Framingham, he retired in 2014 from Lowes in Milford, where he worked in facility maintenance. He had also worked for many years at Conti’s Liquors in Framingham.

He was the father of James J. Waeger Jr of Milford. Step-father of Thomas Bowzer and his wife Tonya of Miford, Daniel Bowzer of Saugus, and  Elysia Bowzer and her significant other Chad Richard of Milford. Brother of Elmer Waeger and his wife Frances of Upton and Michael Waeger and his wife Linda of NC. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Waeger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 10:00AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Main St., Milford, followed by burial in the parish cemetery.

A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday morning from 8:30 – 9:30AM at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford, MA.

His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Milford Regional Medical Center, for their care and compassion.

Jim was a very good man. He loved his family and spending time with the grandchildren. He attended many of their sporting events and helped care for them over the years. They loved him very much.
