I was blessed to call you mom though you played many rolls throughout my life. Mom,dad, confidant, best friend, counsler . You always provided for us being a single mother is not easy ,but you made it look that way as I always had school clothes for the new year and we never went hungry. It was an honour to care for you in your final years. One you never needed to thank me for, as I seen it as something that had to be done and so just like you did for me; I finally got to pay you back rest in the sweetest peace mom.
Tara Tyler

Tara, My condolences to you & your family. Most days Bernice greeted me forehead to forehead with an “I love you hunny”. I loved her spirit & her feistiness - if you tried to feed her something she didn’t like she would tell you where to stick it along with a definitive “god damn it!”. It was an honor to take care of her in her final days. Lots of love to you 🙏🏽.

Tara I am so sorry for your loss. I know how close you and Bernice were. She was a great lady she was kind with a great sense of humor. She is smiling down and watching over you and is now at peace.

My sincere condolences to you Tara and your family. When I was a little girl I would go visit my grandma every Saturday in Milford. Bernice & Tara lived next door to her on Water Street. I would occasionally hangout with Tara and had the pleasure of meeting her mom. She was always very sweet and kind to me. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I remember when I first met Bernice, I think she like me because she warmed up to me quickly. I have some wonderful memories of her, like how she only ate coffee ice cream, with all the type of food you can eat and she she chose ice cream. We had a wonderful evening one day when we took her to one of our town fair. We won three little doggies, which he huged so tightly. I don't think I ever seen her smile so much in one day. But my favorite story was when I use to buy her scratch tickets and she would say to me "buy me a winning ticket, like I could predict a winner. I'm going to miss her :(

Grammy/Bun: I will always hold the memories with you close to my heart. I was lucky enough to spend much time with you when I was younger. You taught me to always welcome people into your home for Tea (with the table always set), the love of decorating for Christmas, and to have a quick-witted sense of humor. You were a Lady ahead of your time, you taught me to see people for who they are, not the color of their skin or where they came from. I will miss you dearly, and am Thankful to be your Grandson. xoxo -Jason

Tara and family I am very sorry for your loss. I will truly miss your Mom who was a very big part of my life for years. I will never forget the day we went to lunch at Tony's and she whispered to me, " We need to get the food to go because I forgot my teeth!" I replied , " What do you mean you forgot your teeth in the loudest voice ever?" Needless to say she called me a Touch Hole! Here if you need anything
