Just heard of this sad event a year later today July 20th 2022. I saw a post on FB by his sister. A shock to me. I worked with David at Groton High School on a few videos for my French students and I. It was a lot of fun and we had planned to reconnect after I retired (June 2021) for a promo video for me eventually, but I didn’t even have a chance.
I’m so saddened by this sudden passing. I had no idea. I just learned about it today.
My condolences to his family. What a loss!

Dave, I can’t begin to tell you how sorry I am. You were a major part of my learning experience in Boston (West Roxbury). No one would ever believe the Horror stories from our living at the Trading Post on Park Street. Great to have met you. Your friend, Rob Lewis. Oh by the way, I live in Vegas now (long story)
Rob Lewis
I remember Dave's smile and his welcoming manner in the years I worked with him.
One of the nicest guys I had worked with in my production and post-production career.
My prayers and thoughts are with his family and close friends.

Sad to hear of Davids unexpected departure from our lives. A friend to everyone and a unique personality in our class. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

David, so sad. I’ll never forget our time together on Joe Stoico’s worst team ever! How about our midnight raid on that bump at third base?! Sincere regards to Janice.

There are no words to express the extreme loss and the hole in my heart. Dave was a partner, confidant and most important a friend. He was always there for me and I him.
There are no words. Do what he would want you to do and that is to continue to do what he taught us all. Carry on and do it with a smile.

David, I will forever be grateful to the sincere attention, compassion and support you freely gave to my children as their teacher and friend. I hold you and your family in my heart.

David, we were classmates, friends and teammates, I’m beyond sad that this has happened, and so suddenly. We all ragged on each other, laughed a lot, sometimes engaging in a bit of mischief 🤔! You were the glue that kept our reunions going, your expertise and cooperation were the key, alongside the girls whose dedication made it all work. Not that you ever minded working with girls! Hopefully you’re in a good place, if so I will see you there… but not yet 😟

David, I can't believe you are gone, but I'll never forget your last words. Thank you for your friendship these past years and mentoring of my daughter these last couple of months. You touched her life in a permanent way and gave her encouragement and guidance in pursuing her passion. That is a gift that I wasn't sure how to repay, and now I never can. I am eternally grateful to you. You will be missed, my friend. -M

From the moment I came to Boston to work, Dave was there. His humor, thoughtfulness and just plain "yeah, I can get that" attitude was welcome every day. He was a man that I could appreciate more than many in the film business. He shall be missed.

RIP, Dave. Talented, knowledgeable, bright, and generous, you freely shared your considerable gifts, with so many of us, your friends, associates and students. We will sorely miss the camaraderie, insight, and sense of humour you brought to our lives.

Coach, You helped me keep my head on straight as a young man. I will always cherish those years of my life on the baseball field with you and our teams. Thank you for always believing in me.

My dearest Sarah,
Our hearts go out to you, John and your entire family. I remember meeting and chatting with your Dad at your wedding. What a delightful personality who so obviously loved his children. I am so glad that he got to spend time with Caiden to hear his laughter, see him walking and hearing some of his first words and to witness your joy as a mother. Love you.

We graduated MHS together and shared most all classes. David was so handsome and popular and yet he was everyone's good friend. Kind soul. Reconnecting with him on Facebook, he always had a very smart or humorous slant on life. Cannot believe there's still life without our Dave.
Love and peace to all who knew and loved him.

David. My brother. My best friend. I feel as if one-half of me is missing. My love for you is all encompassing and never ending. Thank you for the laughs, the discussions and the 70 years we spent together. Our sister Ann and I will always think of you with respect, love and lots of laughs. You are now with Mommy and Daddy. I'm sure that as soon as Daddy saw you, he admonished you: "Hey, David. Get a haircut." You were the best brother anyone could have.
