Anna M. (Iannitelli) Iacovelli, 96

Anna M. (Iannitelli) Iacovelli, 96, a longtime Milford resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Nicholas A. Iacovelli, who passed in 1974.

Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Theresa (Galassini) Iannitelli.

She was a graduate of Milford High School, and had worked prior to her marriage, at Derman Shoe and Archer Rubber. She later went on to work at Countryside Healthcare and Kids & Co Daycare. She also babysat until the age of 81. She enjoyed cooking, crosswords, baking, and family gatherings, including 60 years of Thanksgivings held at a hall.

She was the loving mother of Robert L. “Boo” Iacovelli of Milford, and Carol Ann Wall and her husband Gary of Bellingham. Sister of Alexander Iannitelli of West Bridgewater, and the late Louis and Pasquale Iannitelli, Mary Altieri, and Phyllis Tocchi. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy, and Alicia, and her great-grandchildren Kaylie, Nicholas, Aiden, and Alexander. She will be missed by many.

Visiting hours at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford, on Friday, August 13^th from 8:00-9:30AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Carol & Boo & Family~ Sending my condolences to all of you. Some of my fondest childhood memories were at Auntie Anna's on Cook St. I loved going there for all of the parades in the 80's with Nonni Mary. The Stella Doro cookies and donuts were always in abundance with perked coffee and ginger ale! Wow, 96 years, what a run! She was the feisty one of the bunch, so funny!! I once got in trouble for calling her Anna banana and Pina peanut butter when they arrived at Nonni's one day..never did that again😁 Sending Love & Prayers
