Adelaide (Sebastiao) Henriques, 97, of Milford, where she has lived since 1969, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Adelaide has touched our lives in many ways. She was a daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a woman of character, a pillar of strength and integrity which led her to be highly respected and adored by all that knew her.  She was a devout Catholic and member of Saint Mary’s Assumption church where she led her life in faith.

Adelaide was the devoted mother of and survived by Maria Santos of Brazil, Manuel Henriques of Milford, Marli Hoyt of Holliston, and the late Tais Morais. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cristiane Santos, Christina Santos and Eliane Santos of Brazil, Sandra Morais of Milford, Claudia and her husband Eric Bernheart of Franklin, Andrea and her husband William DiDonato of Whitinsville, Jamie and her husband Miguel Arriola of Arizona and Kelly Hoyt and her fiancé Sean Lynes of Holliston. In addition, her great-grandchildren, Liam and Kayla Mowry, Dakota, Lily & Ella Bernheart, Victoria Beltran, Dylan Riley and Luca DiDonato, Avery, Riley and Declan Lynes.  She also leaves a legacy of being a grandmother to countless others as well.

She was predeceased by her siblings Adriano, Manuel, Abilio, and Antonio Sebastiao, and Victoria Araujo.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 11 A.M. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St. Milford. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar St. in Milford.
