I didn't know Mr. Gomes well but I know the wonderful family he and his wife raised. And so I know he was a great man and a good person. I was saddened to hear of his passing but I hope his family takes comfort that he is now with others in his heavenly family. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jose, Laura and all the Gomes.

My sincere condolences to the family of Tio Antonio Duarte. He was great man. Our cousin, my father loved him like a brother. I last saw him 10 years ago in Boticas, I regret not having seen him and the family more often. It's been many years, but I still remember with great fondness, my visits to Milford, how I was always received with great warmth and hospitality, I was a member of the family. We will miss him.
