Frances Helen (Pafume) DeIeso, 88

Frances Helen (Pafume) DeIeso, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving and cherished family. She was the beloved wife of Vincent (Jimmy) DeIeso for over 68 years.

Frances was born in Milford, MA, daughter of the late Salvatore and Helen (Rummo) Pafume. She lived in Milford on Highland Street her whole life, born in her family’s homestead and then moved just a very short walk up the street to their home that Jimmy built. It was a home that became the setting for many large family gatherings throughout the years, where everyone would bring amazing food and enjoy lots of laughter, friendship, and love.

Along with her beloved husband Jimmy, she is survived by her children; Elaine Marie DeIeso and Deborah Ann DeIeso and her husband Steven Frechette; grandchildren Francesca Helen DeIeso-Frechette and James Bartro and his wife Kerrianne (Fitzgerald) Bartro; and great-grandchildren Jackson, Madison, and Trenton Bartro.  She was predeceased by Carlo and Gloria (Tumolo) DeIeso, Josephine (DeIeso) and Cleo Vitali, and Tony DiPietro and survived by Nancy (DeIeso) DiPietro.  She was the loving aunt, cousin, and friend of so many nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grand and step-great-grandchildren, and friends. She also had a close relationship with James' stepbrother Daniel.

Frances was a graduate of Milford High School class of 1950 and Chandler School for Women in Boston, MA.  After graduating, she worked in the offices of the Draper Corporation then as an office manager for Anthony Roberts for many years until 1985. From 1985 to 2013 she was an office manager for Dr. Robert Bartro’s dental practice in Woonsocket, RI. Frances took great pride in a good day's work all her life and continued to do so while working into her 80's.

Frances was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Hopedale, MA; her faith and daily prayers were a very important part of her life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale, MA, on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 12:00PM, followed by burial at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Medway Road, Milford, MA. Masks will be required for all services and available at the church entry. Thank you for observing these Covid protocols.

In lieu of flowers, her wish was that memorial donations be made to the Sacred Heart Church in Hopedale, MA www.sacredhearthopedale.org/donate
