Kevin Barlow, 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Kevin Barlow, loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many passed away at the age of 66. Kevin was born on March 10, 1956, in Milford, MA to Walter and Nancy Barlow. He graduated from Medway High School in 1974, where he played varsity football. Kevin served six years of active and inactive duty in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a heavy equipment operator stationed in Germany. In 1985, he graduated from Wentworth Institute with an Associate Degree in Building Construction Technology. His jobs over the years included Paramount Bowling Co. and Equitable Insurance. Kevin worked at J.F. White Contracting Co. as a Field Engineer for over 15 years. He worked on large infrastructure projects including, Deer Island water filtration plant, Central Artery, and Cat–Del Ultraviolet Water Treatment Facility – New York City's water filtration plant.
In 2007, Kevin suffered a brain aneurysm and through extensive rehabilitation returned to work. During this time, he remained fiercely independent and was an inspiration to friends and family. Kevin was known for daily acts of kindness and generosity to all he met. As an avid sports fan, he appreciated Boston's rich winning sports culture. Most importantly, Kevin cherished his family who will miss him dearly.
Kevin is preceded by his parents, Walter, and Nancy (Fransworth) Barlow; his brother, Stephen Barlow and wife Cyndee; and his brother-in-law Roger Devereux. He is survived by his brother Larry Barlow, and his wife Peggy; his sister, Christine Devereux; his brother, Peter Barlow, and his wife Sandra; his sister Marianne Dinkel and her husband Lou; his many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
