Gerald Garcia, 40 of Bellingham, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, after battling a lengthy illness. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, raised in Milford, MA. He was the son of Gladys (Medina) Garcia and the late Jimmy A. Garcia.
Gerald was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 2001. In addition to his mother, Gerald is survived by his sister Yerania, wife of Zuriel Ayala and their children, Yahiara and Yaritza. His older brother Jimmy Garcia and his children, Jishaylies and Yaviel; and younger brother Jovanny Garcia.
Gerald will be remembered by his loved ones as someone with a huge heart. He would lend a helping hand to anyone in need disregarding how it would affect him. Gerald loved to laugh and was quite the prankster. He loved to make others laugh and put a smile on their face. Gerald loved dogs, especially his dog nephew, Huxley, and they were crazy about him back.
To have find someone like Gerald was rare. He was incredibly generous with a heart of gold for his family and friends. Everyone should have a son, brother, uncle, cousin, or friend like him should consider themselves blessed.
