Sharon Ann Villa, 75, of Hopedale, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. Some knew her as Sharon Clement and some as Sharon Tripp. She grew up in Bellingham and Milford then settled in Hopedale where she raised her family and lived happily with her husband for the last 50 years.
Sharon had an incredible work ethic and took pride in everything she did. She worked at Jean's Catering for years, became a general manager at Papa Gino's, and retired from Bank of America as a valued Personal Banker. When she wasn't working she loved to read, play bingo with her dear friend Barbara, have lunch with her granddaughter, and go on fun-filled day adventures with her daughter. She would have fun doing everyday things in life like going out for coffee or going to the grocery store. She enjoyed scratching lottery tickets and would get so excited when she won, only to share her winnings with her loved ones. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and taking care of their late dog Alfie. What she loved most was being with her family, celebrating holidays and birthdays was her favorite! Her heart was the size of the sun, it was filled with love, compassion, and generosity.
She loved to paint by numbers, and crochet blankets, all of which she shared with her loved ones. She was up for anything, she was fun and had a contagious laugh. To Sharon, her family was everything, she will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Sharon was cherished by her devout and loving husband, Charles Villa of 44 years.
She will be forever loved and treasured by him and their five children and their spouses.
