Domingos R. Roda, 75,

Domingos R. Roda, 75, of Milford, died Friday, January 14, 2011 in his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Alice C. (Chaves) Roda of 47 years. He was born in Cervos, Portugal, son of the late Domingos and Lucinda (DeJesus Rodrigues) Roda and lived in Milford many years. While in Portugal he served in the Portuguese Navy. He retired in 1988 from the former General Motors Company in Framingham where he was employed as a welder.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Domingos and his wife Carlette (Eden) Roda of Webster, three daughters Nancy and her husband George Danello of Franklin, Lanna and her husband Raymond Doiron of Milford, Donna and her husband Kevin George of Melrose, two brothers Antonio Roda and Zeferino Roda both of Milford, three sisters Hilda Roda-Piexoto of Brazil, Mary Carneiro of Milford, Ana Vaz of New Bedford, four grandchildren, Sue Fernandes, Liz Fernandes, Bianca Danello and Andrew George, one great-granddaughter Kylie Yadisernia, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Americo Roda and Alfred Roda.
 The funeral will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. in the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Winter St.
Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery on Cedar St. in Milford.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
