To Leo's Family, I would like you all to know how very dear Leo was to our family. He was like a father to my sister, my brother, and myself. He was known and loved as "Grandpa Leo" to my son and my four nieces and nephews. And he was my Mom's best friend! He was a very big part of our lives for the past 30+ years and he will have a place in our hearts forever! Debbie Burns (Carolyn's daughter)

The ANCA remembered our Uncle Leo on their site: ANCA With the passing today of World War II veteran Leo Papelian, we take a moment to reflect upon all those Armenians, many sons of Genocide survivors, who took up arms to defend America during this great trial of our nation and of freedom worldwide. - Aram http://www.facebook.com/ancagrassroots#!/photo.php?fbid=499470271858&set=a.172324551858.120197.16968936858 Maryellen Papelian
